Introduction to the Selected Technology Topic
Advancement in technology has enhanced production in various sectors, healthcare included. There are many challenges in healthcare that prevent healthcare organizations from achieving their primary goal, which is to provide high quality and safe care to the patients. Among the several challenges in healthcare, medication errors are a common occurrence. There are increased incidences of medication errors in numerous facilities despite measures in place to prevent them. Medication errors occur at various stages in healthcare. However, the incidences of errors occurring during medication administration are the leading. It is crucial to address this issue because it has significant negative consequences on the patients, healthcare providers, and the entire facility.

The levels of satisfaction of members within these teams will also increase, enhancing the retention of these care providers within the health facility.
